Armageddon
If Jesus were to return and appear before the UN Security Council, would we believe it? And would the veto power still be exercisable?

The veto power is a “state authority” based on the UN Charter. It is granted only to the permanent members of the Security Council (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and Russia).
Even if an individual, a religious figure, or a transcendent being were to appear, the system itself would not change. Therefore, the veto power can still be exercised.
Even if Jesus were to appear, he would not have voting rights. Only states possess voting rights in the United Nations. Even if he were a global symbol, he could speak, but he would not be able to vote.
My lord, have you ever seen the appearance of Jesus? Surely no one knows.
Yes… no one would believe it.
